Your Estate Protection Plan - Let’s face it, it’s not a shiny new object that you display in your home, wear, or show o! to your friends. The most important things in life usually aren’t. However, mention children, loved ones, having to pay higher attorneys fees, paying taxes, or the government deciding who should get your hard earned assets – and the reaction is usually how quick can you get an Estate Protection Plan done for me.

Estate Protection Plan Myth #1:

I have a will and therefore I am covered right?

Reality: Will is only a part of an Estate Protection Plan. Alone it does little more than if you had nothing at all. A good Estate Protection Plan is an actual comprehensive plan to safeguard yourself, your loved ones, and your decisions both during life and a"er your passing. therefore, any one component alone is not enough.  For example, most Estate Protection Plans contain a Revocable Living Trust, Will, General Power of Attorney, and Advanced Health Care Directive.

Estate Protection Plan Myth #2:

I get to decide who my assets go to, right?

Reality:Without an Estate Protection Plan, generally your Estate goes to Probate Court and  complete stranger, the Probate Judge, decides who your assets should go to.

Estate Protection Plan Myth #3:

I am too young to need an Estate Protection Plan.

Reality:For young people misfortune does not always wait until you grow old and being able to designate who will care for and provide for your children is very important. Everyone should have an Estate Protection Plan whether they are your or old.

We at DiMARIA LAW would like to create a long-standing relationship with you. We have a vested interest in your prosperity and well-being.
